It seems like it was this time last year when my hip and outer thigh were twisted in pain thanks to a bout of ITBS (Iliotibial Band Syndrome, ITBS). Now I’m dealing with a chest wall injury. It’s either a strained/torn pec, bruised or busted ribs (x-rays coming), or something called costochondritis. Here’s hoping it’s not the latter since, much like ITBS, it’s difficult to deal with and lasts a long time.

This latest health episode comes from a bear hug gone bad. Thanks to Ben trying to throw me judo style I’ve been rendered immobile and sleepless. A trip to the doctor this morning did produce a Darvocet perscription so that should at least get me 8 hours of rest at night. Let’s just see if it doesn’t cause any more liver damage than I already have.
